Convert a .doc to a .pdf
Submitted by jeff on Sat, 2007-03-10 12:27
We had discussed options for converting .doc files to .pdf's.
There are a number of options that cost money, but I found a couple free web based possibilities:
http://www.doc2pdf.net/index.php
http://convert.neevia.com/
and free programs here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
http://www.acrosoftware.com/products/CutePDF/writer.asp
You can also open the document in OpenOffice and export it as a .pdf file.
Other 'shareware' options:
http://www.8848soft.com/doc2pdf/index.htm ( you can use 30 times for free)
http://www.mypdfcreator.com
and a list of other related software is here
If you come across any other possibilities, please post them here.
