There's a guide for posting an swf file on your edublog at:

Unfortunately it was created before the upgrade to version 2.5 of Wordpress, so the look of things have changed a bit.

To upload and embed an .swf file you have saved to your computer, you can click the 'Add media' icon and then the embed media icon (stay tuned for a screencast)
