Nga Phan-vnu30's Final Report task

Two weeks online course have been over so quickly. At the bottom of my heart. I'm really enjoyed this course what I have  achieved from this course is so much. Not only have I learned about some new technological tools and computer skills, but also I have learned about how to help my students improve their language learning skills through the use of technology I realize that an English teacher must have good knowledge and a good teaching method. So it's necessary to apply modern technology to support language skills teaching and linguistic studies with a few to fostering better achivements. The multimedia tools including a network of computer, VCRs, casstte player, slide projectors... alway play an important role in providing English language learner with precious language techniques as they learn a new language.

    First of all, this course I know the way save and rename a file, distribute reasonable files (example: Document, media, presentation type files) and folders on a personal computer for a quick search over, as an attachment through skill (Desktop Management), create a Google Documents, create a MP3 file, create hot potatoes activity, create a presentation, upload it to my slideshare account that my address on web page is http://www.slideshare.net/nga041175 . Especially EFL sites Buffet page this is a list of websites and online resources can be used for language learning.
    Delicious.com is an online social bookmarking website which help me bookmark sites I like, organize them, share them with others. My address on web page is at http://delicious.com/nga041175 . I have been using this website during this course and it has been really useful. Delicious.com has also helped me discover a lot of sites that I would never have found otherwise. I will continue using Delicious to bookmark sites of professional and personal interest. I plan to encourage my students to use book mark sites to save all the documents related to their studies.
    More interestingly, www.slideshare.net help me to upload my presentation to share with another people and manage my presentation. I can find a lot of presentation from everybody in the world on this page. Many presentation to guide about the skills of writing, listening, reading and speaking. All things are very useful for me. And I can apply them on my lesson in my school. And I can edit this presentation, like add mp3 audio narration and synchronize it, to create a new presentation (slidecasting).
    I can use presentations which I downloaded on the internet, and edit them for suitable lesson, or design lesson plan by powerpoint.
    Thanks to Image Editing skill I know the way to use Irfanview software I can crop image everythings which downloaded on the internet, and insert them into my presentation to enrich my lesson. (As you know, all images are downloaded from internet not suitable for requiring lesson. Sometime, I only need one section or part of image to insert my lesson. And if I don't know this skill I will have many difficulties).
    Thanks to Audio recording & Editing skill I know the way to use Audacity software I can record the pronunciation of new words with goal to my students repeat again, to practice pronunciation and listening skills.
    Beside it, I can create ativities games (exam: test games or crossword games), and insert them at the end of my lesson, to make the lesson more interesting.

    Throughout this course, I have understood clearly about CALL, from the most basic information to more completed one. I can see about the importance of computer in teaching English language learner. With the grammar-translation approach of teaching and learning , both teacher and students know that it is not exciting enough to attract and motivate students attention.

    More importantly, an invisible products I have gained is the background knowledge from reading provided by my teacher, Jeff. I must say that each reading enriches my mind with specific knowledge to help my students understand the lesson (more easily) better.

    Finally, I would like to use the best  words for my teacher, Jeff Lebow who all students in my class loves very much is a short time of study. We will remember you and never forget the meaningful and joyfull time we had together through computers connected with internet at multimedia center. Like you I believe this course is a just begining, not at end. "The seeds planted here will continue to grow". Very wonderful!

    In short, this EFL537 subject has come to an end with many meaningful things to my classmates and me both knowledge and real application in our current job. What I learnt from the subject help to be more confident in teaching and clear some my troubles in using interest in teaching I have been facing.
