Open Educational Resources and Practices
As Keats and Schmidt (2007) mention, there are a lot of benefits from the internet that enable many educational resources for teachers as well as learners. By accessing to these resources, we can not only know about knowledge but also culture of the people and countries that speak English. We can find and select many useful softwares to apply in teaching. Surfing on edublogs will help us to store websites about using technology in teaching and we can have reference addresses to choose the activities, tasks, ... in teaching. We also discorver new aspects such as culture, commercial operations, media, ... that help us overcome difficulties in designing lessons and using high tech in teaching. By opening educational practices and resources, we can share our experiences and contribute our ideas with others to make our process better. With opening policy in educational aspect, we can easily access to different resources of information and we can even open some by ourselves to use and help others. How to open and use resource and practices effectively depends on the designers who know what they will use for, who will use them, what benefit users get after access to them. Based on these, designers are able to design good things for many people
